Happy New Year To Everyone of you!!! <3

May lots lots lots of joy and peace and prosperity and nails design ideas come to you on 2012~ ^^

Since i started working in fashion magazine firm, i get to style in themes/clothing that i always wanted to try out and not being starred by people beside me. ( oh well,fashion is very SLOW over here and most of the girls are not really into the fashion and stick to the comfortable & 'natural' T + jeans way of dressing, which, is boring! ><)

Hell i can literally just doll myself up everyday to make my cells happy~ *happy again*

And that leads to this new year nails!

I know it's not the celebration kinda theme but as my acrylic stuff is being stored at the very corner for a long time, finally i got the motivation to practice it back~

You can probably see the amount of petals increased for the very top group of photo, from pinky to thumb, that shows how is the speed i manage to catch up doing acrylic, hahaha..

But when it comes to left hand, i decided to stick back using mold instead of making the flowers freehand. *upset*

You may notice the designs are not the same, cause i wanted to try once more so i remove the 1st design the next day and redo again, and i manage to squeeze 2 flowers in a fingernails instead of the very 1st one only, muahahahaha imfastlearner. ahem~

Ok enough of being long-winded, once again Happy 2012 to you guys again!!

And pray hard that the end of the world will not come so soon i still has a lot of things in the to-do list! >v<

Hey i'm back again..

Did few designs this week but didnt manage to snap photos, no worries just some french one. :)

And for this one, hee, kinda lazy lately for creative one, just a combo of Konads..

Thought to stay at home this weekend but end up mum wanted to perm her hair so accompany her to the mall, and that brought me back 4 pieces (i know it's kinda out already but i finally saw noodle skirt here, and i bought it cause i cant be more excited that i have a similiar one with Michelle Phan^^v).

Shall take photo of them i guess? tehee...

Ok time to bed, i just chop my nails short and round and i think i will put on pastel/cream polish that i just bought^^ Year end just makes me so in shopping mood, tehee..

Well my fashion style (ahem~*cough*) change a little, so i thought i should make some little changes to my blog too. It was more on a black steady cool to white turquoise-ish refresh simple one.

I finish editing these few photos few days before but i spent my weekends visiting roadshow project that i was in charged before and having some time with my sister that i rarely talk with. :)

How is everyone? year end is finally here and the season kinda makes me slow down and get lazy a bit. :p

And despite Malaysia does not have winter, but i started to stock in some winter-like apparels~ <3

So i think my company is fine with nail polish, that means i *finger cross* can change my painting as often as i can like how it use to be~ but i guess i will still remain it at once a week -- i need more time to be on bed now. >< getting elder.. :(

Got this new color from Elianto few days ago, love it but too bad it doesnt suit my skin tone. >< it made my finger looks grey and dark, but i still love it, how?!

So in stead of making it full, i cut it down to french which the color stays far from my skin (hope you get that..) and added some konad on the lines in nude..

Apparently it's just a way too simple konad i do for my 1st day of working. Did a lace french but it doesnt came out as what i expected so i remove it and stamp these polka on my bare nails without any base color. yup and i made it matte<3

So this is what i've been wearing for 3-4days already, and i'm very in love with the matte finish look using matte top coat from Orly, the quality was great~ :p

I have been away from here long enough, i am sorry i did not even inform about my move in advanced at all.

If you still remember me and don't mind to know about my updates i am no one to stop you to leave here.. ><

1. I was appointed for national service 5 years ago, i was already in university when they notify me so i deferred it, yes until i am out with my bachelor degree. Since i finally graduate, i decided to complete my duty and rejoin it this year before i get myself a job.

So i write in to the related government department, and they offered me the fastest batch to rejoin and it's only like 1 week left from it. I ran out of time. I went medical check up, to stock in daily used stuff to bring into camp and etc, which is why i didnt get to sit down and write here.

The service lasts for 3months, which is when i started to disappear from past May-August. I was not 'internet reachable' throughout the entire program (well i only manage to facebook-ed a bit on sunday when we can have our cellphone back for few hours). Oh ya, we stay in the jungle. We went through physical training and classes for things like personality build up, attitude being as teen and young adult, out form camp during weekends for community service and so on.

I did had some fun during the activities and got to know some good friends from other states. the program did added some stress to me as i was chosen as the commander of all trainee. i am 23years old this year but the rest are mostly 17-18years old kids, and main point about this is that they are not listening to you (and the trainer/coach) most of the time.

There was some tough period went through, but won me the best female trainee as well. :) So sorry that despite i've been back home for around 1 month but i haven't got the chance to finish editing photos i've taken during the program..

2. I started to look for a job since i came back from the service, and after few weeks, i finally got myself a job just today, and i will be starting to work as marketing executive on 2nd Sept. Excited yet worried, excited that i found it myself cause parents been intro-ing me their friend's company which i prefer to achieve it with my own strength; worried if i could adapt to office life and cope with colleagues well enough to learn from them. But i'm sure and i believe everything will go well:)

3. Since this is a nail blog, i can not end this post without my latest nail design as i finally get to grow my nails long again after my national service.

I manage to squeeze in time to shop in the annual beauty fair over here which so happen to be 1 day before i enter the camp (so rush!!!). Got myself this black matte polish from Orly and the matte top coat as well. Will show my haul next time.

So yeah, i think that's about it for now. It's 2.40am now in malaysia and i should get myself to bed now. :p

I know i had abandoned this blog for too long, but i have just too little time for myself recently.

Updated news to every followers or those that are waiting for my new post, i'm sad to say that there will be no new nails stuff up till i do so, as i'm busy with event jobs after Lunar new year and is still on going, which means it's only base coat or a transparent coat of nail polish to make them look neat at the moment and that's all.. :(

And No, late nights up are only for work, no longer for myself, like now.. *sob sob*

Forgive me to have to continue leaving here to earn my living..

Did this military uniform theme nails after the valentine's nails, was too boring at home so thought to paint my nails. well i like to see my nails bare so they can breath, but i cant stand too long as i stare at them i feel like they must have colors on~ :p

well this was not in as planned, but i got the cute mint polish from Nature Republic while i was in the mall and cant wait to try it, i mix red to represent CNY and came out with this design. :p

Nothing much special just a moon design with dots around, a simple and fast one to fit in my busy cleaning washing days with mum to celebrate this new year..

You might be interest to google where's Sabah located in my country so i wouldn't need to explain more, here's just some phots to share with you all how my 4D3N graduation trip looks like if you like blue blue sky green green trees and soft soft sand at the beach... :p

Never we saw scenery like this in any other cow farm in my country, especially when this one is located at hill near Mount Kinabalu and the weather was freezing cold~

Out of my perfect imaginary of a cow farm, the beautiful farm smells like hell! forgive me but when there's GROUPS of cow having meeting session all over the field with ~~bullshit~~ cow's defecation that's not clean up, you'll see heaven soon. =="

Day 3 and it's island hopping day~~~ ^^

we took boat from the city and hopped from Pulau (island) Manukan to Tunku Abdul Rahman park and had a great and tiring day playing with sun and fishes~ you can already see groups of baby fishes swimming in front of you at coastline (i hope i get the right terms :p) and cute colorful fishes when the seawater reach our chest.

Nothing special just something to cover my nails as i know my nails crack or split easily when it touches water for a long time.. :p

Yeap, here i am again. :p

i feel so guilty for saying sorry continuously but i have to, for all of you that has be waiting for my updates. >v< love you guys~~~!!!

if you are aware of my new post below this one, i'm letting my nails to have a break in a week or 2, and wish that they will be strong again to start my new round of torturing, lolx...

So here is what i had during Christmas time. i modified the designs from Nail Up November copy, which originally looks like this:

Im not really to the 'framing' designs (like what you see on the thumb), and instead of gold stripes, i use what i got (gold flakes) as replacement..

For the stars on ring finger, after the red base is dried, i draw outline of stars and fill in with white before another layer of the glitter gold to let the gold pop out more in the red..So as the small bow on my index finger..

right side~~

So few days ago my uni held a flea market, providing booths for students to do business in this very special day as it was the 1st flea market held in my uni.. :p
So me and my friend Amelia, and another friend purchased a booth selling manicure and body art (henna) sevice and also second hand clothes..

As you see above, it was my manicure corner, hehe...

And, the business was not bad~ :p

I spent my pass weekend doing part time job in kid's fair as promoter for some milk and yogurt product and this week with my final year thesis that i just hand up today. How about you, you and you? hehehe..

This is my last week as a uni student, exam will start and end at 11st Dec (the one and only one and the last paper i have as a uni student here, lolx) and by that time i will have to switch from University student to jobless human until i get myself a job, hahaha...

Long time no pedicure, this was a white base with shimmer in mixture of red blue green yellow (i guess that's all?) and a cute black bow with Konad for some cute-ness~

So sorry if you wish for more close up photos, cause Rachel loves Mr.Sun so lately many post were dedicated for him cause he comes to my room for visit on the right time when i wanna shoot my nails~ lolx..

Oh, did i tell you all that my uni is having a flea market tomorrow? and haven't i tell you that i got myself and my friend Amelia a stall for body art (henna) and manicure in the market? ^^

trash bin bag? hahaha, but indeed, this design was inspired by the black plastic bag that we usually use it for rubbish bin..

Last week my friend and i participated in a costume design competition held by Public Relation student in uni for their final year project. it was to create a costume with the use using old stuff or recyclable materials. So this was the final result using bubble wrap, unused shirt, and black plastic bag..

And to make it a set, the rubbish bag came to my mind as an idea to transform it onto my nails..
But instead of using the real bag, i tried it out with my black crack polish i bought sometime ago.. (check this out for the 1st crack nail design i did with red crack polish)

And, this is the outcome..
Yes the surface was not smooth as expected but it instead it came out looking more realistic like the texture of the rubbish bag.. :p
The base color was actually silver glitter and i added some flakes too before the black polish so when the cracks form you can see some shine coming out in between the crack..

For left hand side i make index finger with silver glitter cause i think it gives a contrast with the black crack design and to bling it up a bit..

Hi guys! long time no see. :p
i know it's been awhile (well it's was just a week ago since the last post, lolx), and yes i'm a little busy this week with activities, and hong kong dramas, haha... >v<

Some of you may find this very familiar if you read Trincess's blog on this cute bubblegum post.
I thought it's really simple easy and unique, so i decided to do it too, with a little changes^^

Ingredients~~

Start off with white and black base.
I wanted to try it with different color base, so my ring fingernails is in black where the rest are white.

When the base is almost dry, it's time for happy dotting~~ hehe..

It's really simple as you just randomly dot different colors on the area near cuticle, and i can't think of why you will fail to get this design.. :p

The dot's color on my ring finger is same as the white base, it looks different due to the black base.

And we are done~

I guess i will only be free to post new nails on.......... Monday.
Because i have things to be done tomorrow and day after tomorrow, and then i guess you will forgive me to have one day off on Sunday since it's my birthday right? :) hee....

Hey guys.. sorry for the delay, was away for part time job past few days.. :p

So, this was the silver bling gradient i did originally, plainly with any silver flakes or shimmer you can find from your nail polishes..

Added some big stones i got from craft store for those DIY deco you do on your mobiles and cameras..

And that's for all..
So sorry i don't have more photos to show, lighting was not so good to shoot them.. :p

i fell down from staircase on a rainy day outside of a restaurant before my job, and hurt my buttock, imagine the bruise is black in color on almost half of my right side.. T.T Thanks god it didn't hurt my back bone.. :'( but don't worry, am recovering from it now, the color turns to red after few massages with oil, poor my hip.. ><

I'm not sure is this suppose to be in 'nude' color range, but it's the closest among my nail polishes. :p

Continue to try out the colors my friend gave me. ^^
I got inspired by Japanese nail magazine again, i kinda combine what i remember from the magazine with similar color, feel and concept, and come out with this. Again, it's a on-the-spot idea (if you're close to me you know what i mean :p), haha..

the 2 pretties~

i paint my index finger the more pinky one, just to try out the color. You can make all finger nails with the same polish.

Hmm~ Hot sun nice sun..
Thunder pass by our area few times the past few days, but none of them stay or bring along Rain to come play! ><>

Add a vertical line with shimmer, i'm using Majorlica Majorca's polish no.77.
You can change it to black as well.

Find a spot you prefer and add flakes or rhinestones or just simply dot it with polish, and you're done~ :)

Notice it's different design on my right hand?
It will be next on my blog~ :p

Well ya it's what i wore to uni on the 1st week, but mainly is cause i don't know what should i name it, haha...

My friend is kind enough to gift me these cute babies~

But to be honest, the one at the left is very the 'lip gloss' to me and it's too sweet to digest for me.. T.T sorry, cause it's pink.. hahahaha.....
My favourites are the second and fourth polish~

Talking about 'back to school', my uni open this week, and it's my final semester of my degree course, ooouuw, i'm so gonna miss my own room in my hostel.. :(

Wanted something nice and simple to archive, took the idea from Nail Up July copy.
It's original design was air brushed nails, but since i don't have to machine to do it, i use thin tip brush to draw out the flower..

It's like a serious summer season over here! It's was sooooooo hot that i have to shower 2-3 times a day! and my 5.5liter water bottle have to be refill almost everyday where i only need to do so once in 2days before that! ><
But there's 2 advantages of having huge sun on top of us,
-my clothes dries really quick!
-more time for photo taking since the sun is always there~
lolx...

Hey guys! I apologies for not updating for so long!><
Other than me having holiday on beginning of October, there was some internet connection interruption in my hostel when i came back for my new semester, and seems like it will take some time to solve it, the speed was deadly slow for the past week! i wonder how do i survive till now.. T.T
The line is smoother tonight compare to last week, so i quickly log in blogger to 'see' you all~

I didn't paint much design during my break, other than letting my nails to rest, i'm just too lazy to do painting, in stead i've been watching series and craving for food here and there, tehee..

Got this shimmer dark brown/bronze in Sasa, but i can't get any nice photo showing it's real color! sob sob.. it was so nice to look at it, it looks mystery to me too, haha..

Okay okay, no new nails at the moment as i'm letting them away to rest and breath freely as they are very thin and fragile due to my 'rudeness' treat to them when removing acrylic or gel or nail glue. :p (i often put much pressure trying to remove them when nail remover is not strong enough to take off in short time, i'm not patient when it comes to revoming, haha)

To fill up your time spent here, here's some of my artwork practicing my photography skills on free time, hope you like it.. :)

I love chocolate but i dont crave for it often unless you got dark chocolate~~!!! @v@
So when Ferrero Rondnoir dark chocolate is here in supermarket, i must try it! hehehe..

i have the habit to clean my dead skin on cuticle area whenever i saw them, i just have the craziness on clean and clear lines on cuticle lines, they make them look unreal and neat. hehe..

The weather was nice so you couldn't see much of the 'wound' on my nails. The white part of my nails is normally kinda transparent since small, but after some layers are been teared off by yours truly, it's even transparent now.. :p

Because i have no idea how should i name this design.. lolx..

Hey sailors~ ^^/
Weather's been quite cool lately, make me lazy to get out of bed.. @v@
but too bad i have to, cause it's study week now! which means my exam is getting nearer.. :(

Anyhoo, let's talk about nails first, haha...

You probably get the idea from the previous picture..
paint your nails french and entire nails as your preference or go on randomly..
I'm using blue and white, but there's other color for nautical so you can choose what you like..

Next draw thin lines at the outline of the french with the 'opposite' color ( for white base use blue, white for blue base), but i don't have much patient that day so i grab my black thin tip brush to replace blue.. :p

Finish up with thicker 'lines' after the thin lines..

for the ring finger, let's add a cute anchor! ^^
you can use stones, or purely nail polish to dot it or draw it out, but for my level of polish drawing, i still prefer to use beads, haha..

Seal with top coat and you're done~~ ^^v

i admit purple violet is colors that i don't fancy (and BRIGHT PINK!) but still i have few bottles of them in my collection hoping for my notice one day so they could come out and have some fresh air.. lolx.

So you know it's not gonna be pink on my with this design, i picked violet instead as i think it gives the design a mature elegant and lady feel..

First start off with this dark violet with little bit of shimmer as base..
oooh i can't snap the original color!! ><>

Using thin tip brush, draw a 'V' on each nails and fill in the space..
You may stop here but i added some silver flakes onto it for extra sparkles,
you may add rhinestones too like how the original design was..

And Ta Daa~~~

Ello guys~ ^^ hehe, just realized i have not been updating for 10days! >v<>

So i finally took off the fakies and my nails is 'crunchy and crispy' after frequent filing and sometimes removing 3D acrylic or stones peels off few layers of my nails too. i'm gonna chop them all short shortly, but at the mean while since i barely succeed to keep my nails long, i decided to do some nail art for long nails. :)

Inspiration taken from July's Nail Up.

Start with white polish as base...
I dont understand why bubble always like to visit my nails?! ><
amazing thing is that they will turn to bigger bubble after a day or two. ggrrhhh...

I dont have big flakes as shown in the mag, so i replace with what i have.
mix gold and bronze flake to stick on with dotting tools, but too bad not much difference they all looks like gold color.

pick few nails that you would like to draw the bow. you can stick stones or acrylic, but i want something simple and fast, so i use silver thin tip brush to outline the bow, then fill in the space with pastel color polish..

done~! ^^

Anyway, did this design before the white polka, but thinks it's not really to my style and not cute or sweet or cool enough so i remove it right after i finish doing it. :p

OMG it's so much cheaper than shops in mall, now i feel ridiculous whenever i see the price tag! *faint*
continue from the point above, you can definitely find cheaper cheaper and cheaper price for similar items, all you need to do is just compare more before you decide to spend the $$
Fashion in Malaysia is catching up but majority shops and majority humansss here are still living in their own world or they just dont care, online shop that imported apparels from Taiwan and Korea are much more exciting!!! @v@

but at the same time, i sometimes get frustrated too:

Item's quality received not as picture shown as in the web site

Clothes' button missing and you have no chance asking for it back cause it's either at the factory/ the distributor/ the seller/ simply disappear in the air

Tired of waiting for the clothes to reach your door step (some are ready stock that can be delivered on the next day while some are pre-order where seller collect a bunch of order list then only they send invoice to distributor from another country)

Difference of size, especially for bottom apparels. ><

and blablablabla i did online purchase for few times so there might be other issue i have not encountered.

All i wanna show in this post is just about this no-brand watch i just received today. ^^v
Ok the quality was not equally to the $$ i paid, but i can just black list that shop and look for new one, haha..
I bought tops most of the time online, 2 bottom that failed to meet my size (still upset on it ><), a pair of Converse-like shoes and then this watch. :)

Ok ok am back~~ ^^v
Was really lazy lately, feel like going for a vacation or like leave everything back for a weekend for my own from works.. ><
Only did 1 design for this week and it's only on right hand, haha.. i feel stress looking at my left hand full of nail glue and stones to be remove, lolx.. anyway 90% of the stones are still sticking nicely except for some small silver beads near tips are gone cause of washing clothes and plates, cool~~~ that makes me feel like keeping them to see how long can they survive, hahaha...

So this is the design i came up with this week. something simple and easy to archive and let's get started..

As you can see i'm still wearing fakies, it's been 3 full weeks and i'm surprise they are still on my nails without any sign of peeling. I'll probably continue wearing them till they drop off by themselves, haha..

Since the fakies comes with the natural pink (as they are meant for french nails if you look back on my previous posts) i'll leave it as the base color.. you can go on with any nude or light pink polish as your preference...

Next run through the entire nails with glitter polish. Sorry i didn't capture the bottle to show the color, it's kinda like white glitter in clear polish.. Just to add the sweet and girly feel to it, and to give some shine of bling bling... :p

This step can be archive in few ways.
I use 3D lace mold to make these, then just stick on nails when it's dry.
Or, you can choose any lace pattern you like from google and draw it on with white polish..
Or, just make small and big dots referring to my photos, it works the same after all.. :)

Top coat it and you're done..

It was already late evening when i finish doing this nail art, and i fail to snap a good one with natural light as it's getting dark. End up i force to switch on flash light. ><

Oh, did i tell before i hate flash lights? it makes my face looks scary.

But whiten my fingers and the lights can cover all 'wrinkles' on my hand to create the 'blurry-ness' that i normally have to edit with Photoshop, haha...

So, until then..

Hey everyone! Sorry for keep you all waiting, here comes my sparkle shimmer blingblingbling nails in 2 different designs~ ^^

Am still wearing my fakies since they are still sticking nicely..
This 1st design is more 'low-profile' and simple but still having the bling-ness at the same time..

The base is actually nude color from the fakies' french.
Added a layer of silver shimmer gradient.
Used bronze and gold flakes in between the nude and gradient..

Idea and inspiration taken from Cynful Nail's blog.

I got myself Nail Up July copy~^^ went to town nearby 2 days ago and how can i not buy it!!! >v<
Ok so i bought it and i is so happie~ haha.... can't stop the excitement cause i finally own a Nail up magazine. (it's hard to find fresh from Japan nail magazine here.. :( )

If you follow my blog frequently you will know i'm quite busy with assignment lately, so i put on fakies for the sake that fakies need few minutes to stick well on my nails and will stay there nicely without me worrying of polish not drying or whatsoever. And this french design is simple enough to keep my nails looks clean and neat for the time being. :)

Just too bad that is cannot cover my tips entirely cause i still want my 'ori' length to maintain. :(

Anyways, like i say yesterday on previous post, i have some free time today away from assignment, and since i'm eyeing on the nail design on Nail Up cover, decided to transform it to my own nails (i mean the fakies, lolx)..^^

Oh, after i got it and decided to put this design 1st of all, i immediately go get myself the light green (no idea what's that color call. T.T) from The Skin Food, haha..
If you are curious about it, it's BL509.

Until i realize i'm suppose to snap photo for the steps, then i again, realize my camera has to be charge. ><>
But i guess it's not difficult right...

For the flora design, after your base is dry,
simply use your thin brush or dotting tools, like what i used,
draw green short line (the leaf) and then with blue short lines (whatever, to add some layers to the patter) and lastly fill up with light red and red (as the flower).

I replace the gold balls with small flakes as it serve the same purpose..
you may also dot it with gold polish with dotting tools..

Not really use to the fakies's shape on my nails, looks more round. :p
but as what i notice, the polish dries faster on fakies compare to real nails. wonder why?

Hi there~ ( ^^)/ i'm back again~hehe..

This time, pastel french with black base, an modified design i saw from Wan's blog on the post about Dolly wink's new polishes..

First i started with black polish as base..

Then pastel peach orange with curve shown in the picture as french..

1 big dot of same pastel polish on the middle, and 2tiny one on each side..
Cute not??? ^^

Oh by the way the background was actually my new top i got from online shopping, it's a white T with leopard face on it. but the leopard looks a bit emo rather than fierce, lolx..

Ok, actually i just got my nails painted with another design and i can't wait to share it up!
But since i have no class tomorrow and assignments decided to release me for few days from it, so, i shall not stuck too many nails of mine to you guys 1st, hehe...

Hey there, am back~ :)
and i still have assignments and mid term queuing up... :(

I had few more nails to show before this, will post it up when i'm free enough to do so..
At the mean time, let me just share what i have..

dang dang dang dang~~

Got inspired by asami's design from her you tube channel, though i can come out something similar..

I had this fake OPI polish in dark silver some time ago. But the thing is, i cant capture a good photo of its real bottle color. ><
Anyways, just pick a base color as your preference..

Add white stripes on each nails.
it can be horizontal or vertical like how asami did, but i just leave them all in horizontal..

Use black thin tip polish to make lines as shown, and you're done.. :)

Here is what i had on my right hand, using light grey as base..

nice eh? hehe...
Simple and sweet for the time being that i dont have much time and energy on nails..

I just chop my nails short, got a bit tired of maintaining on long nails. Since i dont have strong and hard nails, i have to always keep an eye on them in case the clumsy me broke them anytime. ><

Since we had a tough time on assignments, Amelia suggest that we should go out and have some good time.
So the next day we head to nearest town (our campus and hostel is kinda at a rural area) to have some good food~!!! yum yum^^

FOTD (Fact of the day):

Rachel is very willing to have Japanese food EVERY meal in her whole life~@v@

But not for shashimi yet. XP

Amelia with her pork rice set, and my cold soba set with tempura prawn that is beside her, haha...^^

We had a real good time enjoying good food with reasonable price, ahh, i can still feel the tasty soba soup with generous white radish and ginger inside~ hmmm~~~~~

Ok it's true that i can do part of the skill that manicurist in the salon can do (and we know our nails better), but isn't just so relaxing and comfy to sit down peace your mind and let the pro the do the job?

It was a small salon but the girls are quite friendly.. we had pedicure treatment and hand nail art, i wish the foot massage can be longer, hehe..

I'm so sorry that i forgot to capture Amelia's manicure and pedicure, but here's mine..

Just request for a simply sparkling light gold glitter colour, the girl who did it for me add 1 more layer of gold flakes without charge, hehe... I'm thinking of adding stones and pearls by myself later on.. :p

Didn't realise about it until i came back home and this thought just pass through, maybe with a little help from me to add red polish would make it a great one as a Pepsi lover^^ yee~

Been busy with my animation assignment till no day no night, sleeping had been ~~upside down~~ "everywhere", wake up in the afternoon and start working, dig myself in Adobe Flash till the next morning, sleep, wake up at noon again.. @@ reason being is midnight is always the best time to concentrate and that's when the internet line is the smoothest so i can download or search for any references i want.. :)

So end up Rachel has pretty panda eyes with huge pores on my face.. >v<

But guess what? i've been praised by lecturer on my effort in front of the class, hehe...

I have to admit i'm kinda nail polish addicted lately. Since i got not much time for leisure activities, i have to cut off the time of doing manicure as well. But the thing is, i can't stand staring on my naked nails for more than half a day. =.="

So to have something fast and simple, i decided to take out all my pastel creamy polishes and do a colourful french nails~^^

Before i show you how i did this design, allow Rachel to let her nails to come out for a sun bath~ XP

Dont mind them without bikini or swimsuit right? (hope my jokes is understandable, lolx...)

Long time no bare nails~~ *nails breathing*

My nails have not grow so long for a loooooooooooong time, but now i'm half excited and worried when will they start peeling or splitting.. wuwuwu.. ><

Been wearing nail polish continuously these past week, the only time they are free from these chemical colours were when i'm thinking what to do next after i remove them, and i re-paint them like, straight after all manicure's stuff done..

Ok ok, enough of it it's time to paint~~

I'm sorry i took so long to show you all about this 'crack' nail polish!

It's quite challenging to come out with designs other than zebra or patterns that you usually seen similar to this..

** reason why you never see me in animal print design is that... i just dont like it, no reason...... like how i cannot cope with pink, lolx..

Here's some information you might wanna before start using the crack polish..

For crack polish, you will need a base colour before applying it, it doesn't work with only base coat either, i think its the formula of creating the crack ya..
You need to apply it when base color is 1/2 - 3/4 dry, it does not work when the base is totally dry or too wet.
The thicker the polish is, the wider/bigger the crack will be..
From my experience, the polish will crack to the direction you apply it, meaning if you apply it vertically like how we normally apply ordinary polish, it will crack towards vertical, and vice versa..
You can use hair dryer with hot air to blow the polish if you want more crack.. but this only happen when it's still wet..
The crack polish dries almost immediately after it finish it's 'cracking job', so you can straight away apply top coat or go on with decorations..

And, i think that's it, so let's start~

Since it's a dark red 'crack', i picked white polish as the base for this kinda demonstration while it looks more contrast..

When we are done with 2 coats of white, i immediately go on with the crack.

From middle finger to pinky, you can see how it start cracking..

Notice the direction i apply it from pinky?

My index finger has lesser but wider crack compare to the rest because i put too much polish on it.. :p

Ok i thought the previous one was too boring covering entire nails with the crack, so i remove everything and come out with this design.

I only apply criss cross direction on the root near cuticle, and it kinda looks like fire flame but in darker shades, hehe..

I think its kinda cool giving the crack effects, but not much ideas i can think of, i got another crack polish in black, will show you another design when inspiration knock my door..

hahahahhaha, looking at my sneak peek photo i'm still so excited that i finally succeed on my 1st attempt for 3D acrylic!^^ so proud of myself when i see those babies i made though it's not perfect yet but soon~~~^^

Ok ok shall i start showing you my step by step? ^^

To be honest i kinda come out with this idea from picking little bit of here and there from you tube clips or blogs that i've been reading, and i modified here and there while i'm creating it..

(you all know i dont like to really plan the design too complete in advanced, that's boring to me unless it's a brilliant genius one.. XP)

i 1st start with black french tips in a 'V' direction, just to give design more interesting rather than the ordinary 'C' smile line.. it's suppose to look really like a 'V' when you open your finger straight but i didn't get to snap a nice one.. but you get the idea..

It's optional if you wanna apply 2 coats for the back, but for mine, 1 is enough..

I then added this pretty lace pattern i did using my 3D mold..

Cut the excess lace and you get something like this...

Time for acrylic~^^

i finally ~~accidentally~~ figure out why my acrylic dry fast even i bought the slow dry liquid, simple cause i did not switch off my fan.. =.="

i normally switch my fan to volume 2 or 3, but i turn it to 1 previously when i'm doing acrylic, so i think the light 'wind' is still affecting the acrylic to dry fast. I simply off the fan this time without any thought, when i came out with my 1st bow successfully i was still curios, 'why suddenly i so smart so fast can did it?', after few seconds only i realise it's the fan problem, haha....

And i also take the courage to make a rose (or whatever flower it is) since i still have some liquid left in the glass.. not as perfect as pro manicurist but i think it's pretty impressing~~~ ^^ XP sorry if i'm too excited about it..

I only stick the 3D bow on index finger and thumb, need some time to get use to it before i start getting crazy sticking on all nails.. :p

Added some stones and pearl too! But i'm too excited and lost control that i once again, ruin the design a bit on my middle finger cause my hand itchy keep picking up stones to stuck on it and lost direction i wanted to go.. >v<

Anyways, i still love this design~ ^^

My friend Amelia ( which her nails will be appearing on next post soon!) says the black french makes the stones and bow pops more making it a contrast.. aahhhhhhh, my bow~ ^^

This was taken when i'm on my way to uni,

and simply explaining why i love sun so much~! my finger skin tone looks fairer and more to the color in real life, i can see the nice pinkish-ness of my natural nails, and what's more than making nails looks more sparkling~

Another Fact of the Day:

Rachel finally likes wide screen photos.

Long time no pedicure, just 惜惜 my feet after i finish my manicure. ( sometimes there's some word or meaning that other language can not explain correctly. this words simply means like when you feel sad your papa come give you a hug and you feel better and sweet and warm, hehe..)

scrub them luke water them cuticle them file them moisturise them and paint them and make them smile. :)

Toe nails are not as lucky as finger nails as it's best to look clean and simple with designs, and mostly there's only thumb nail that is big enough for me to play, haha..

Just a simple nice coat of black as base and add on the ~~not-so-obvious~~ 3D lace i made from 3D mold i bought from beauty fair awhile ago.

Before i can snap them after the top coat, i so careless and let them touch the floor, so top coat became 'matte finish', lolx..

My right hand finger nails' 3D roses started to feel loosen, so i just remove it cause i can't wait to do my next design. Feel like doing nails a lot lately, maybe coming back to hostel gave me inspirations. Did another bling bling nails and probably will only show it next week, need to rush for my Animation sub storyboard and drafts to hand up on Monday.

To proof that i really like wide screen 16:9 photos, here i have 2 photos, since i have not been showing my face here for a long time, haha..

I DIY dyed my hair last week, with help from my friend Amelia, who her nails appear in my blog the most whenever it's a 'nails of friends' labels (left one in the photo below)

you probably cant see obvious about my hair color, but i love it when i meet sun light and you can see the mystery red shines, haha...

Well about the caption of this photo, you can ignore it, it's our inside joke among my gang, haha..

hmm..... cause i simply still have some time to play with nails before assignments come to me.. haha...

(not face of the day but fact of the day):

Rachel is back to blings and shimmery, with french~ @v@

I'm wearing this at the moment, meaning i have no more back ups until i change it, and it'd most probably happen on this weekend, or later.. I'm quite satisfied how it turns out, so i approve to let them stay on my nails longer, hahaa....

To start with it, i put on 2 coats of shimmery polish gradient-ly on the tips.. (in any color you prefer where matches the rose you wanna put on later)

i'm doing it differently on both hands (which i normally do, can't wait patiently till next manicure, haha)

i apply 2 coats of silver shimmer..

I then made the 3D rose with nail art mold and acrylic powder in white, and black for my right hand.

I stick it with nail glue on the tip, and cut off the excess one with scissors before it's still soft, so i will not need to file till i die after that.. XP

Next i arrange the silver beads like lace pattern hanging around the rose, and seal with top coat..

Added some stones on pinky and thumb as well..

Well for black rose, i use gold ~~cheap~~ stones for the lace pattern.

But ya, it's not shiny at all as it is really bad quality and i am trying to finish them before i get myself better quality stones (which will cost me 876542345678bucks more, wuwuwu...).

Haul + Acrylic

Nearly forgot about these photos from last month.. :p

Went to the biggest beauty fair in Malaysia last month with one of my secondary classmate, and got these stuff.. i got crazy looking around on make up, Konad (but too bad the offer is not attractive yet to make me buy any of them), acrylic, and the new baby in taiwan 'crack' polish..

Not really much but at least i got what i wanted to try, hehehe...

Oop! Jealous is my forever idol from Taiwan Jolin Tsai's nail polish brand run by herself, it's selling over here but quite expensive (msia ar msia why you wanna make those branded thing so expensive~~~), so since they have promotion now, i must have some~!

This is the second crack polish i got, from japanese brand call Fairy..

Will show you all how it works, maybe next post or later~~ :)

i learnt from what Jin told me in her blog and after watching nail tutorial from You Tube reallllllllllly closely, i found my mistake, and guess i have to be more aware on cuticle and lifting, and such... hehehe..

To play with it, i added some lace pattern on my left hand, wanted to make it 3D but clumsy me ended up become this 'beautiful' inlay.. lolx....

Ok ok enough of crapping, gotta be sleeping now have got class tomorrow~~
