I'm back~ ^^

I'm back, i'm back i'm back i'm back~~~ @v@

How's the new layout and header? hehe, thought to have a change after so long..
Well, no nails for today yet, maybe until i have enough rest replacement from work, haha..

I removed my gel nails, they stay on nails not even a month, think will not go to that nail salon for the moment, as i don't see any reason to return if they still do not consider from customer side. ><

-i actually requested for acrylic nails since i've tried gel before, but the ladies keep on pushing me to go for gel, i know it's nicer and it's the trend over here, but i can sense that it's mostly because they don't want to smell the strong liquid thingy. (Or maybe they dont have the skill? lolx)

-they have pink powder majority, which the rest are like purple and some weird green and yellow one. NOT even pale pink, nude or beige as what i asked for. #$%^& The salon seems to be quite popular in the mall, but only with these few colors to survive for little girls that only like pink? T.T

-they kinda success to CHANGE my mind to give gel nail one more try, but we had some time on the length. rrgghh.. i SAID i need to do typing quite a lot, but she still refuse to shorter the extension, saying that she already use to do long nails, and short one are not pretty enough. T.T so i file them down after i got back home. rggggggh.. But still, i'm not able to file it too short as it's really thick from the c-curve view, had hard time to pick up coins or even paper. End up almost whole office can hear me typing with the nails, annoying to me and my colleague.

-Last and for most. another reason i wanted acrylic is because after the gel stays on your nails for some time, there will be some gap/air in between the gel and real nails as you do your daily work and due to the different thickness of gel on nail bed and the corner. the lady guarantee to me it will not happen, but it happens right after that, haha... then she giving excuse then the corner (near cuticle) is too thin cause she file it too much. End my love for gel nail.

ok i think it's about it. haih...
By the way, the gradient is quite nice though..

Dah, hand itchy edit photos immediately though i say no photo today, haha...

The actual length she extend for me..
Oh and she's rude to my nails!!!!!!!!!
she trim them badly hurtfully and they look awful before hiding with gel layer on top. There is standard steps to cut off nails which i know it from beauty show, i assume that professional nail salon practice that too, but i guess i'm wrong (cause they expect me to go back for 'refill' the gel after 2-3 weeks, so they can continue to hide it, lolx).
My 10 finger nails are like some with square shape here some round there, rrgghhhh..

This is how it looks like after 1+ week.. My nails grow fast..
Only manage to file till this length cause i can't stand the thickness.. ><

And see..... the crack on my middle finger..
That continue to happen on the rest of my nails and it never ends... T.T

Enough of complaining, talking typing makes me hungry faster, food here i come~
Till next time.. :)

seriously in love with bling

Sooooooooooooooory for the MIA!><
Finally i have a weekend for myself and not working, been travelling to different states for work but it's fun exploring different places and peoples. But honestly, i feel painful to sacrifice my personal time and the most, relationship.. Events are more suitable for singles or those who can accept long distance love. I miss my boy, and feel so sorry to leave him alone, hope things work out better..

Back to nails, it's very fast and easy doing it with these bling bling polish that already have billions of flakes with colored polish (those with clear polish is quite a No-No for me). Just little bit of color will do, like this one.

3 layers of polish will do, from the 1st coat - entire nail bed, 2nd coat - half of the nails and 3rd coat - only on tips, or more as how you want it to be..

Added some stones and pre-made 3D flower for some doll up. Pretty nails makes good mood.

Till next time..
*I went for gel extension yesterday because i no longer have patient for polish to dry as i prefer more sleep nowadays, just a very 'low-profile' gradient so it's more suitable for work. Will try to post previous mani before that..

Have a nice weekend everyone. : ]

**i have no idea what happen to my post ever since i format my lappie, i have to copy paste my photo to sequence i want in stead i can just drag it here and there before this, and weird underline keep coming out and i don't know where to un-underline it. isshhh.. ><

pink gradient with gold shimmer and dried flower

Whatever, i'm too lazy to think of names for this mani.. @.@
I wore this last Friday since it's last day of working before Chinese New Year and Friday is a casual day, i hell not care about getting scold or what of wearing nail polish since this one is pretty with bling yet 'low-profile' enough to be notice, lolx...

Different color of dried flower on each finger~ ^^v
Anway, i just bought the flower from night market on Thursday after working and i can't wait to try it on straight after i finish my dinner, tehee...

I'm using the pink polish that doesn't suit my skin tone bought last year,
2 gradient coats of that and you don't need to make it neat cause we will have blings blings to cover it up later. i use this color is just to hide my white part of natural nails and to try to use this bottle of polish since it's been at the corner for a long time, lolx...
1 coat of gold shimmer,
1 flower for each nails and 2 for the middle finger..

I took these photo on Friday morning when i was having my peaceful breakfast at mamak (indian/malay restaurant/stall that is forever the favourite place to sit down to eat and chit chat especially for supper and football matches for boys~ ) before i enter office..

Rachel loves morning sun shine~ ^^
though i'm still on my bed most of the time, tehee...

Christmas Merry Christmas Nails~

Merry Christmas everyone and i hope you all have a wonderful Christmas eve~ ^^/

This is Rachel's Christmas nails that i just created~^^

Ingredients~
White polish
(here i use 2 kinds of white as
QYbrand is more watery for the gradient and
Elianto white02 thicker one for Konad)
The Face Shop RD302
OPI 88 (i'm quite sure this is fake one, cause i can't find any matches in the OPI web site :( )
Elianto Racing Green 18
Konad m59
Rhinestones
dotting tool

Here we go~~

Using a make up sponge, sponge white polish on the tips and you see snow~~ haha...

Next use dotting tool to draw red dots by random size and places..
Then you repeat the same way with green polish..

Because i don't own any red polish that contain glitter so i added glitters on them after that with slightly bigger shape than the matte red one. Just to make it like smudging out..

After the dots are dried, go ahead and Konad snowflake image from m59, again random~~

Last add rhinestones as you like and seal them with top coat,
go dress yourself up and ready to go hang out with your family your friends your love ones~ ^^/

Blingbling gradient~ ^^

I nearly forgot about this sweet nails~! :p
i've seen many tutorials in You tube about using make up sponge to create gradient design for nails, I just came back from last exam that time and i decided to try it out since i have my last sponge available, hehe..

Again, i forgot to take photos on the How-to, but i promise, next time when i restock my sponge.. ;)

1 coat is enough but you may add 1 more coat for the sick of richness, hehe..
It was really easy and the polish dries out super fast! using this method to create gradient save time save energy and you get simple yet gorgeous outcome~~ Why not?
I think i will be doing this gradient pattern more often since i will have to work for 3+ month for training and i dont think they allow crazy nails going on in office, haha...

one more picture under the sunlight and you see blings~~~ ^^v

Gold silver jewel~

This is a similar mani of Golden sand i've created sometime ago, but this time i use different base color and patterns.. ^^

Firstly, ingredients for blingbling nails~ ^^
Olive green polish,
gold glitter polish,
silver glitter polish,
dotting tools,
rhinestones~ @v@

Base coat EVERY TIME before you go any further..
Olive green as gradient base~
i paint my nails a wide french, then slightly go through the french line with the 'leftover' polish on the brush to create the gradient..

2 coats of gold glitter,
just simply paint over the olive...

I added one more layer of silver glitter on 3/4 of the nails after that,
just want it to be bling-er~ hehe...

Whether to wait for it to dry, you can add on rhinestone at any time..
I prefer to add it when the polish are still tacky, this way it can 'enhanced' the stickiness and hold the rhinestone better..

Top coat and you're done to hurt people's eyes now~ heaheahea...>:)

Oh ya, the name of this mani is actually direct translate from a mandarin proverb -- gold silver jewel, simply means jewelry, in a nicer way.
Since i got so many blings on my nails, i think they suit the name, haha... ^^v

The roses i'm holding was made of tracing paper,
i had a presentation in class today, and i need to prepare a visual aid on my artwork, so needed the tracing paper to cover it as protection..
i use the leftover to fold into roses after my turn of presentation,
i was the second to present so i have plenty of time left in class listening to classmate's presenting..
i made 3, and gave 2 to Amelia (her nails appear in my blog before, lolx..),
mine was now on my ducky ducky's 'head' as her head accessory, haha, will take photo of her again to show you all~ ^^

Well then, night night everyone and morning morning~ :)

Late back-to-uni mani+pedi~

Late post late post~ lol...

This is what i had on my hands the first day back to uni,
dark red gradient with acrylic (acrylic paint) roses and dot dot dot~~

One on ring finger and another rose on thumb..

See the 3D-ness? hehe....
Was so happy doing this mani, but it only last for like 2+ days, it started to chip on right hand so i change it after that..

Normally my nail routine would be
Mani on Sunday for Mon & Tues --> remove it on Wed or latest Thurs and let it rest for 1 day --> Mani on Thurs for Fri & Sat --> remove on Sat night and rest --> back to mani on Sunday..

Keep mani for 2-3 days and rest, so my nails can have some rest once in a while, plus plus my hand will get itchy and urge me "hey, it's time for something new again~~", hehe... ^^v

My prettie prettie rose with pencil case's accessory present by my aunt~~ ^^

Gel nail for the 20 years i've live!!! XP

Rachel went for hair cut today, because they are having anniversary promotion + it's time to me for hair cut!
And their nail saloon which is only beside of the hair one is also having this promotion which is 50% off for almost every service provided in their shop!
Omg, how can i not go for it?!! It's a 50%!!! @v@

So so, before my hair appointment, i went in to their nail saloon with super excited jumping heart~ tehee...
The acrylic and gel are the same price, but as what i found out from those you tube and blog on these 2 types of nail, i decided to go for the gel one,
as i can still paint nail polish onto the gel after i did it, but not for acrylic as it the nail polish will start staining into the acrylic after few times of applying..

After 2 hours of UV light, here's my bling bling nails~!!! ^^v

Deng deng deng~ ^^
loaded you guys with pictures here..
It's just the same but i'm too excited to put all here up^^
My sister help me to take photos of them so i can have both hand appearing here, as usually it will only be one here, hehe..

Oh and i actually ask for extension for my right middle finger cause it's way too short compare to the rest..

My sister's Beijing Olympic panda wants to join too~ hehe..

Manicure,
Extension for middle finger,
then progress to the procedures of making gel nails..
that includes
hydrating my nails, (i forgot what's the proper name to call this step..)
base coat for gel,
1st layer of gel & UV light,
1 layer of the glitter & UV,
2nd layer of the same glitter & UV,
she added some bigger glitter and to UV light again,
1 or 2 coats of clear gel then UV,
after it's dry, clean it with nail remover (i guess..),
buff it to a smooth layer,
top coat.. (i guess, also, hehe..)
cuticle oil,
moisturizer for hand
and you're done~

Though i'm happy to finally try gel nail, but i dont think i will go back to the saloon, or maybe let other nail artist do for me, cause i found quite some imperfection after that.. :(

Like, she didn't file my nails nicely in shape, they are slightly pointed to either left or right side, if you get what i mean..
and she din ask me what kind of nail shape i want until i tell her before she goes too far..
I can say that my cuticles that i pushed looks better before she push it for me, haha.. cause it's not really in a nice curve after she trim the dead skin away..

Maybe i'm just too caution on every little details because it's my own nails + this is my first time.. :p
But i file them again after i came back home, not a big prob so i decided to fix it myself.. :)

^^ let's see how long it can stay on my nails, hehe...

Secret Garden i name it~ + Haul

Elianto came out with range of new glitter nail polishes and how can i miss it?!
The sales girl told me last week that there will be new colors coming this week, and when me and my friends reach there, it's a Aaarrgghhhh~~~~~~~!

The bottle is damm cute~!
Well at least it's somthing different than what we will see here ma..

I got 4 roses now~ ^^v

One of my friend's finger, saying 'hi~' to you all... -.-" haha... just simply wanna distract me from taking photo..

Lovely color number 1, Night Glitters 19
Second, Glittery Nickel 14

Racing Green 18 and Indigo Shine 15
Love love love them~~~
Their red ones are nice too, but i just couldn't stand to get these 1st...

Super happy with all i get and cant wait to try them on~
I don;t which one should i use 1st, so i pick 2 of them and made a gradient nails, just so i can have 2 color at the same time, lolx~

I first apply the indigo near cuticle, then faster apply the green one on the rest of the nail.
Drag some indigo along when i'm applying green polish to make it gradient.

Omg, my finger never look that flawless before~ Thanks to my cammy~
camera i mean la, haha.. ^^
